Parents are often Blamed, not Trained, and when our children or teens have huge emotions because of a life challenge, and they are ‘kicking off’, this tends to create a reactionary response in ourselves of strong feelings too. Their heightened feelings escalate our own. So how does one respond so that everyone calms down and a solution is found to the problem that caused the high emotions in the first place?
