Two different proverb affirm:
A happy heart makes the face cheerful, and,
The cheerful heart has a continual feast.
So….how do we be happy? Any tips?
Some of my thoughts:
+ Take time to be with the Creator or a Being, or value, bigger than yourself. This brings a deep inner contentment and peace that how the world spins on its axis is not up to you, there is a Higher Power who has your back, has already organized the future, and is right here in your present.
+ Take time to be with the created – yourself included, as well as all the balanced, beautiful beings in untainted nature
+ Start your day with being grateful for 3 things
+ Tell your partner or someone who matters 3 things you admire and appreciate about them
+ For 10 minutes every busy hour, stop and do something completely different to break the dreary drudge of routine, the energy-sapping focus, and the business that blurs many other things that matter, for example the progress you have already made, the way the light is dancing through the office window, the kind smile of the person next to you…..
